Hexagon Releases Version 8.9 of PAS PlantState Integrity (formerly PlantState Suite)

Hexagon continues to innovate within its industry leading Operations Management platform PAS PlantState Integrity (PSI).

Enhancements/Fixes include:

  • Significantly improved process for creating ISA/IEC standard KPIs. The ISA/IEC recommended metrics can now be created automatically from the Consoles configuration UI, reducing the time needed to create all the recommended metrics to mere seconds.
  • Significantly improved work process for creating custom KPIs. The new menu driven process for creating a KPI directly from an analysis reduces the time and effort required to create custom KPIs. Better understand the performance of the entire facility and enterprise by creating customized metrics to track specific areas of improvement.
  • Streamlined management of administrative functions around alarm system management with Alarm Classes. ISA/IEC mandates that every alarm belong to one or more alarm classes. Alarm classes themselves are a collection of administrative tasks around the management of an alarm, such as audit requirements, shelving restrictions, whether the alarm was taken as an IPL and process control operator training frequencies. This new feature added to the D&R module allows customers using the leading global alarm management software to leverage the capabilities to automate and report on many of these administrative functions.
