Asset Model Update - July 2024

Asset Models for the following Industrial Control Systems (ICS) have been released. For a complete list of enhancement/fixes, please refer to the product Release Notes.

Asset Models Released and/or Updated:

Siemens PCS7 v1.10.0.0

Enhancements/Fixes Include:

  • Program Viewer tab heading changed for appropriate case for Object Type BlockProgram
  • Optimization of Asset Model for inventory-only import purposes
    Added Asset property Inventory Only Import in the asset model that allows the import of inventory-only information.
  • New Data Collection is NOT REQUIRED when upgrading to this new version of the asset model from previous version.
  • PAS Inventory Items asset model WILL NOT BE UPDATED based on the changes in this model release.

HIMA ELOP II v1.9.0.2

Enhancements/Fixes Include:

  • Fixed an issue with references to Delta V not getting built.
  • Optimization of Asset Model for inventory-only data collection and import purposes.
    • Added Asset property Inventory Only Import in the asset model that allows the import of inventory-only information.
    • DCC updated to allow for inventory-only data collection.
  • New Data Collection is NOT REQUIRED when upgrading to this new version of the asset model from previous version.
    • If you are running Inventory Only import, then new collection is required.
  • PAS Inventory Items asset model WILL NOT BE UPDATED based on the changes in this model release.

Bently Nevada 3500 v3.0.0.0

Enhancements/Fixes Include:

  • Added new asset property that gives the ability to import using RAK file and assetinfo.txt.
    • This asset model version can import RAK file without requiring the vendor software to open RAK file to export specific file formats.
  • Added external references with Invensys Fox IA.
  • Added defect viewer for Spare Channel objects.
  • Fixed import errors.
  • Data Collection scripts
    • When using the new RAK file import process, you need to use the new version of the DCC to create script.
    • If you are not using the RAK file import process, you need to use the old DCC to collect data.
  • PAS Inventory Items asset model WILL NOT BE UPDATED based on the changes in this model release.
